This site is a visual diary. It's a compilation of 65-years of art study. I source much of the imagery from photographs. After I capture the image, I may use it as a base or background. From there, I add overlays and paint before using compositing techniques to achieve a finished piece. They aren't in chronological order. For each piece, unless it's a painting, I do a limited series of prints (usually 15 with a couple of artist proofs,) I use archival inks on Arches Paper or an equivalent. During the printing process. I may try different papers to enhance luminosity and depth of color. I also apply the duotone process.
